An upscaled, rustic, and elegant wedding for this very special couple of mine.

Lori, actually my Aunt Lori, and her husband Tom, celebrated their long-awaited fall wedding at the Birmingham Country Club in Birmingham, Michigan in September 2021. Well established members of the club, Lori and Tom's stationery was strongly influenced by the venue's traditional and elegant feel that they loved so much about their venue.
Both Lori and Tom wanted to give their guests a "white glove" experience, where personalization, intention, and special attention was ever so present in the duration of their event. As guests arrived, they were welcomed by a valet service, directed to the ceremony location, and given a glass of champagne as they waited. During cocktail hour, guests could sit beside a warm fire, enjoy some of the couple's favorite hors d'ouevres (bacon wrapped scallops, grilled lamp chops, and black bean empanadas), and chat with others with cocktails on the terrace. Guests trickled into the reception space, where they dined on a filet and salmon duo with hand selected wines by the bride and groom, Caymus of course. A 11-piece band lit up the entire space all night long, with so many special moments shared with family and friends.
We used this same intention to create stationery that not only represented them as a couple, but included the most intentional and personal touches that Lori and Tom could tell stories about for years to come. We curated a cohesive and intentional vision for their stationery pieces, beginning with the save the date, which incorporated a floral border that would end up carrying across all the remaining stationery pieces.
For the invitation suite, we created a hand drawn crest that resembled the shape of the club's crest with additions of floral elements, a traditional banner, and elegant crown. The entirety of the event, we focused on a muted fall color scheme that tied into the day of stationery pieces. We created gold, matte foil stamped menus, escort cards with a wax seal on each, table numbers complimentary to the event space, cocktail napkins, and warm welcome signage.
Alongside these talented vendors, Lori and Tom's wedding was magazine worthy!
